Morgan McGovern

MSOT, OTR/L

Morgan was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida before moving to Nashville, Tennessee to earn her Bachelor of Music in Classical Vocal Performance from Lipscomb University. She later returned home to pursue a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. Throughout graduate school, Morgan worked as a Registered Behavioral Therapist (RBT), where she developed a passion for supporting autistic children and their families.

Morgan is passionate about helping children build confidence and independence through meaningful, play-based experiences. She has clinical experience in outpatient pediatric and outpatient hand therapy settings and has a special interest in emotional regulation, sensory integration, fine motor development, and providing neurodiversity-affirming care. She believes therapy is most effective when it is child-led and collaborative, emphasizing strong relationships with each child while partnering with families to help children achieve their goals in ways that honor their individual strengths and needs.

Outside of work, Morgan enjoys spending time with her partner and dog, reading, going on hikes, and loves a good game night.
