Katie Beman

M.S., CF-SLP

Katie Beman, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a Speech-Language Pathologist who is committed to supporting her clients' speech, language, and feeding development. She earned both her Bachelor's degree in Public Health and her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of South Carolina.

Katie's clinical interests include orofacial myofunctional disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and gestalt language processing. She is passionate about providing child-led, play-based therapy that is individualized to each child's unique strengths, interests, and needs.

Katie believes in the importance of building strong relationships with both her clients and their families. She collaborates closely with caregivers to develop meaningful, functional treatment goals that support communication across everyday environments. Her approach emphasizes creating engaging, supportive sessions that empower children to communicate confidently and effectively.

In her free time, Katie loves reading, going on walks, and spending time with her friends and family.
