Lesley Van Dyck

M.S., CCC-SLP

Raleigh Office Manager & Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist

Hi, I'm Lesley! I'm a speech-language pathologist and the proud Raleigh Office Manager at ACT Therapy Services. I earned my bachelor's degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and my master's in Speech-Language Pathology from East Carolina University.

Throughout my career, I've worked with clients across the lifespan-from infants to older adults-but my true passion lies in supporting children and their families through play-based, neuroaffirming therapy. I specialize in pediatric feeding disorders (including helping infants transition from bottle or breast to oral feeding), early intervention, motor speech disorders, articulation, and language delays. I'm also a trained clinician in the Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) framework and provide support for gestalt language processors with individualized, strengths-based care.

In each session, my goal is to create a supportive and fun environment where children feel confident exploring communication, and families feel empowered and involved. As a mom of two young kids, I understand firsthand the joys and challenges of parenting-and I strive to provide care that is both collaborative and meaningful.

When I'm not in the clinic, you can find me running, writing, crafting with my kids, or exploring the Triangle's incredible food and beverage scene with my husband.
